It was PG Woodhouse who wrote  – 40 years before the birth of Gordon Brown – that one could seldom fail to spot the difference between a ray of sunshine and a Scotsman with a grievance. As a Welshman whose Celtic tendency towards gloom is alleviated by an equally rooted sense of the absurd – yes, we’re manic depressive and proud of it - I’ve decided to ignore the negatives in my professional life and only now see the silver lining in the various clouds which have been gathering around regeneration for a while. This Tim is different

I note there are at least three Tim Williams’ at work in the WordPress blogosphere. One seems to be an expert on procurement, which though my consultancy is replete with experts on procurement I’m not – so alas that’s not me. Another runs a “healing hands ministry”, which, though I suspect I too might be a suitable conduit for the workings of the holy spirit – the Lord moving in mysterious ways His wonders to perform after all – that’s not me either. This Tim is different.
